Pay-on-success is a pricing model in which you pay for a content removal only when it is confirmed; if it can't be removed, you don't pay and any deposit is refunded in full.
Under Nullify's pay-on-success model, each case is assessed first and work starts only where there is a valid legal ground. You pay only when it's removed. If we can't remove it, you don't pay — any deposit is refunded in full. Prices are set per item (a review, post, video, URL or site) or quoted per case before work begins.
It differs from subscription models, which charge a monthly fee whether or not anything is removed, from retainers billed for time spent, and from suppression services, which publish new content to push results down rather than removing anything.
In practice
Pay-on-success ties the price to the outcome. Because payment depends on confirmed removal, a provider working this way has a reason to accept only cases with a real legal ground and to say up front when something cannot be removed or would need a court order. When comparing services, check what counts as 'removed' (deleted at the source or de-indexed from search), whether a deposit is involved, and how refunds work.
